Although planned dinners and a regular workout schedule might not seem lofty, it is when you’re on call for 7 days straight! At the dreaded mercy of the pager!!!!
My last post was about getting back on the wagon and I set about it by making some good food decisions and cooking some items in bulk for the week. We did pretty well but got derailed in the workout department with a massive snowstorm that started Wednesday and put us out of commission until Friday. And then I was lazy. And then I got called into an emergency surgery on Saturday. SO today I will be starting again! Batch cooking plans include paleo muffins and paleo granola.
Meals and workouts for the week =
Sunday: Roast chicken and veggies; run 6 miles
Monday: Left overs; 5:30am bootcamp
Tuesday: Spaghetti squash and sausage; swim, upper body weights
Wednesday: Leftovers; 5:30am bootcamp
Thursday: Crockpot hawaiian pork; swim, leg day
Friday: Left overs; 5:30am bootcamp
Of course this could all crumble if I get called in every night so stay tuned. The rule I set for myself: if I’m in bed by midnight at the latest with uninterrupted sleep, I do my workout! It will take a lot of fortitude but I know teamfinish will help me meet my goals!!!
